WE NURTURE
who and why

Hi there, I’m Esther Maagdenberg,
initiator of We Nurture.
I’m an educator, child coach in training, children’s yoga teacher, anthropologist and former nanny. I am originally from the Netherlands and I live and work in Italy.
The process of self-creation, is how Maria Montessori described childhood. Children build themselves, their personallities and their knowledge, when given a safe and stimulating environment. Our role is to create this environment. For me, this is the most interesting task I can imagine.
This task offers us adults a great opportunity: It allow us to right what went wrong in our own childhood. Our project of maturing is one of taking charge of our own education, filling in the gaps of what is still missing and unlearning habits that do not serve us.
Children are excellent mirrors. Surrounding yourself with children will show you in a few minutes what you have yet to work on. I find that magic happens when you allow yourself to grow as they grow and get to know them as their personalities unfold.
We Nurture is a way to build at tribe of likeminded educators, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles etc. who are committed to the project of using scientific findings to help create an environment in which children can do their work of self-creation, as well as ascribe to values of inclusion, non-violence, environmentalism and wellbeing for all.
We Nurture offers content and coaching, which will later be expanded with (online) courses. If you subscribe to my email list, I can keep you updated directly. I will not give your email to third parties and make sure not to e-mail more often than once a month.
If you want to get in touch directly, please feel free to contact me at info@we-nurture.com.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Esther Maagdenberg
